Made from grapes grown in selected terroirs and on old vines and aged in French oak barrels for more than two years, the Gran Reserva is one of our most special and complex wines.

Following painstaking selection of the best grapes on the oldest Tempranillo and Graciano vines, our award-winning Gran Reserva undergoes slow, carefully controlled fermentation with regular pumping over to extract all the colour and aromas from the grapes. The wine ages for 27 months in French oak barrels with six-monthly pumping over so that its typical features develop gently and harmoniously, before spending a further 36 months ageing, in bottle prior to release.

Beronia Gran Reserva displays a dark picota cherry red colour with a garnet rim and is deep, clean and bright. This is an intense, complex wine with well-integrated wood and prominent notes of spices such as nutmeg and clove, along with balsamic hints over a background of ripe fruit.

A richly flavoured, meaty and well-structured wine, the hints of ripe fruit are complemented by slight notes of liquorice. The tannins are sweet and well-structured, whilst the finish is pleasant and long.
