Beronia III a.C.

Few vines survived the phylloxera epidemic which ravaged the Rioja vineyards at the end of the 19th Century, and our Beronia IIIa.C is made from some of those that did. The selected grapes come from our oldest, most prized vines, and the decades spent carefully tending to them has resulted in the most intense and intricately flavoured fruit. After a careful harvest, the grapes undergo cold maceration. This process extracts the very best aromas and flavours from the grapes, prior to fermentation. The wine is then developed through careful aging in new French oak barrels for one year.
